Tampa Bay Chapter · By application · 19 trade slots remaining

Own your trade.
One slot. Zero competition.

Twenty trades, twenty businesses: the benchmark every chapter builds toward. Membership is not for sale; every applicant is license-verified, reference-checked, and voted on by the members already seated. Clear that bar and you are the only business in your category, in front of homeowners who already said yes.

Chapter roster

Claim your trade before it's gone.

1 of 20 filled. 19 trade slots remaining in the Tampa Bay chapter. An open slot means we are vetting candidates for it, not that it is for sale. Every applicant is checked, interviewed, and voted on before a name goes up.

State license and insurance verified before any vote

Minimum three years operating under the same business name

Five homeowner references contacted directly

Background and lien history reviewed

Unanimous approval from the seated chapter members

Removed from the roster for unresolved complaints

Affiliated vendors · non-exclusive

Recurring-service trades, vetted to the same bar, but these categories stay open to multiple businesses and never consume one of the 20 charter slots.

Dues do not buy a slot. Applications are declined when a business fails verification, references, or the chapter vote, and a trade stays open until someone clears the bar.

Three tiers, one standard

Charter members, affiliated vendors, and network partners.

Twenty charter slots is the benchmark and the goal, and a chapter can run above or below it as it grows. Alongside the charter trades, recurring-service businesses (pest control, lawn maintenance, fertilization, pool service) join as affiliated vendors, and the professionals who see the home at its biggest moments (insurance agents, real estate brokers, property managers) join as network partners.

Charter member

The exclusive trade slots

  • · One business per trade, zero in-chapter competition
  • · Full quote and job routing to your company
  • · Full access to the homeowner opt-in pool
  • · Chapter vote, referral tracking, and leaderboard standing
  • · $1,000/mo dues · $1,500 deposit · $500 onboarding

Affiliated vendor

Non-exclusive ancillary trades

  • · Vetted to the same bar: license, insurance, references
  • · Create and receive leads through the same workflow
  • · Referral credit under the same chapter rules
  • · Opt-in pool access, once per customer, and their relationships are recurring
  • · $100/mo dues · $500 onboarding · no capital deposit
  • · Can apply for a charter slot whenever their trade opens

Network partner

Insurance · realty · property management

  • · Licensed professionals, vetted and reference-checked like every member
  • · Two-way leads: they originate and receive through the same workflow
  • · Compensated in homeowner credits, not per-lead cash, and their clients spend the credit like cash with any seated business
  • · Hybrid dues: opening an opted-in book of business earns offsets against onboarding
  • · $150/mo dues · $500 onboarding, reducible to $0 with opted-in customers

Affiliate seats never consume a charter slot and stay open to multiple businesses per category. Their techs are on more properties more often than anyone, so the chapter's most real-time early-warning system, first to spot a home being sold, a storm-damaged fence, or a failing system. When a charter slot in their trade opens, an affiliate in good standing can apply to upgrade into full membership.

Network partners are the chapter's early-warning system at the transaction level, a realtor's pre-list walkthrough, an agent's claim call, a manager's turnover schedule. Because of the legal restrictions on per-lead payments in their industries, partner referral value is issued as homeowner credits: their customer is rewarded for their loyalty to the Collective with a dollar-for-dollar credit at any seated business, and the partner's book gets a benefit no competing agent or broker can match. Partners and affiliates alike can offset, or even fully erase, their onboarding by bringing their existing customers into the opt-in pool up front: more vetted, consented homeowners for the chapter on day one, lower initiation cost for them.

The flywheel

19 other trades selling for you.

Every chapter member has techs and reps in customers' homes every day. When they spot work outside their trade, they log it, route it, and a quote can be in the homeowner's hands before the homeowner even thought to call. That is proactive selling: a win for the homeowner, the referrer, and you.

HVAC → Windows

Fogged glass, caught early.

An HVAC installer finishing a tune-up notices fogged double-pane windows: a failed seal the homeowner hadn't registered. They log it from the truck, the window member gets a routed quote the same hour, and the homeowner signs a limited-time offer before ever shopping it around.

Roofer → Electrician

A panel spotted from the ladder.

During a roof inspection, the estimator photographs a corroded main panel and double-tapped breakers. One tap sends it to the chapter electrician with photos attached. The quote lands while the roofer is still on-site, and the roof job and panel upgrade close together.

Plumber → Water Restoration

The leak behind the leak.

Fixing a supply line, the plumber's moisture meter lights up the baseboard in the next room. Instead of a referral card and a maybe, they log it, the mitigation member confirms a same-day visit, and the homeowner avoids weeks of hidden mold.

Landscaper → Fence

The leaning fence line.

A lawn crew chief sees a fence one storm away from falling into the neighbor's pool. They flag it in the network before leaving the property. The fence member sends a quote with photos the homeowner never had to take, with an expiring install slot attached.

Painter → Garage Doors

Curb appeal with a closer.

An exterior painter quoting a repaint mentions the dented, noisy garage door dragging down the whole facade. They log it on the spot; the door member bundles a replacement quote alongside the paint job: one decision, two jobs, zero extra sales calls.

Pest Control → Insulation

What the attic was telling them.

A pest tech treating the attic finds trampled, soiled insulation driving the energy bill up. Logged from the attic ladder, the insulation member's quote reaches the homeowner before the tech is back at the truck: problem and root cause solved in one visit.

Force multiplier for sales: every member's techs and reps become your eyes in the field.

Gamified lead generation: the chapter leaderboard tracks who feeds the network, and referral compensation follows the rules.

Integrated quote and job routing: a logged lead routes to the right trade with photos, address, and consent attached.

CRM agnostic: leads land in the system you already use. No rip-and-replace, no new software to learn.

Radical transparency: shared dashboards and status tracking show every lead's path from spot to signed job.

Lower cost per sale: less prospecting labor, less windshield time, fewer cold leads.

Urgency built in: members can attach limited-time offers to routed quotes while the opportunity is hot.

Homeowners win too: problems get fixed before they become emergencies, with less of their time spent chasing quotes.

Membership

What the dues buy.

  • Category exclusivity: you are the only business in your trade on the roster.
  • Roughly 200 completed jobs a week across a full chapter, a description of the model at capacity, not a claim about today's volume.
  • Weekly homeowner marketing plus independent chapter advertising.
  • Verified-member TrustCo.in badge for your website, proposals, and trucks.
  • Consent capture, compliance, and unsubscribe handling done for you.
  • Leads flow into your existing CRM. No new software to learn.
  • Review collection and reputation management.
  • Monthly Opt-In Co-op Fund.
  • Your own Offer Book listing.
  • Optional chapter meetings and events to share information, exchange knowledge, and connect with other members.
  • The more you put in, the more you get out: membership rewards participation, not just dues.

Dues are itemized quarterly. The $1,500 capital deposit is your first-year probationary period: it is held, not spent, and refunded in full if you leave before 12 months. Renew for a second term and it converts to equity shares in the chapter, so staying members own a stake in what they build. The $500 onboarding fee is one-time and non-refundable.

Referral fees

Every lead resolves. Every referrer gets paid.

Referral compensation isn't a handshake; it's escrowed. CollectiveTrust sits between the trades as the chapter's escrow agent, enforcing closure, holding the fee, and remitting it company to company.

Step 01

Lead logged & routed

The originating member logs the opportunity with consent attached. The fee rule for that trade (flat, percentage, or capped) is locked to the lead from the start.

Step 02

Closed won or lost, with a verified reason

Every lead must resolve. No ghosting: the receiving member closes it won with a job value, or lost with a documented reason the chapter can audit.

Step 03

Fee invoiced through escrow

CollectiveTrust acts as escrow agent for the chapter. The referral fee is collected from the receiving company and held: not pocketed by a person, not passed under the table.

Step 04

Originating member gets paid

Funds are remitted company to company. Your business invoices, your business gets paid. Clean for taxes, clean for the books.

Business-to-business only: referral money moves between member companies, never to individual employees or techs. One clean 1099 trail per company.

CollectiveTrust is the escrow agent: fees are collected, held, and remitted by the network, so no member ever has to chase another member for payment.

Nothing closes without a reason: won leads carry a verified job value, and lost leads carry a verified reason.

Fees expected, earned, approved, and paid are tracked per lead, from quote to close.

Disputes have a path: a flagged lead pauses payout until the chapter resolves it, with the full history attached.

For tax purposes, all referral compensation is collected and remitted between member companies, never to individual employees or users. Your company invoices the network; the network pays your company.

19 trade slots remaining. One name each.

Applications are reviewed by the seated chapter. Verification and references come first; the slot stays open until someone clears the bar.
