Where your $1,000 actually goes.

This page exists because members asked. Dues are itemized, published, and reviewed quarterly.

Collective Trust Credit

The formula, published.

Pay it forward: every completed job earns the homeowner a credit toward a different trade, honored and funded by that next member and managed by Collective Trust. Each chapter votes its percentage, cap, window, and minimum job amount within Association-published guardrails, locked for a minimum term.

See this month's Offer Book →

Credit = 5% of your completed job's invoiced total, up to $500, toward your next job with a different trade, redeemed within 30 days.

Rate

Cap

30 days

Window

The credit is earned on one member's job and redeemed with a different trade, funded by the member who earns that follow-on work, never the one who did the first job. Redemption requires a minimum job amount, published by the chapter, and the credit appears as its own line on the proposal, after labor and materials. Credits expire 30 days after the qualifying job is complete.

Comparison

Against the status quo.

Pay-per-lead marketing

  • $500+ per lead, uncapped month to month
  • No visibility into what the fee funds
  • The same lead sold to three other buyers
  • You bid against the people you compete with

Collective Trust membership

  • Fixed $1,000 per month, not priced per lead
  • Published split on this page: $500 / $500
  • Itemized quarterly with the chapter
  • One business per trade, nobody bids against you

FAQ

Straight answers.

Won't they just raise the price to cover the credit?

Shop freely: you can always get other quotes, and members expect you to. The credit is shown as its own line item after labor and materials, so padding the base price is visible on the proposal itself. Price misrepresentation is a formal complaint trigger under the reputation standard, and unresolved complaints cost a member their slot.

Does the allocation change by chapter?

The $500/$500 split is fixed. Within the administration bucket, dollar weights shift with local costs, and every chapter itemizes its sub-categories in the quarterly member report.

Who audits this?

Spend is reviewed quarterly with the chapter. Members see the marketing invoices and the platform costs behind each line.

Can the Collective Trust Credit change after I join?

Each chapter votes its own percentage, cap, redemption window, and minimum job amount within Association-published guardrails. Once voted in, those values are locked for a minimum term and any change applies prospectively only, never to credits already earned.
